Shaandaar is a tale of a grand wedding between the children of two business families set amidst a lovely chateau and greenery in Europe and a love story that blossoms between two insomniacs.
Bipin Arora is a possessive father and loves his adopted daughter Alia to bits. However, it is Kamla Arora, the matriarch of the family responsible for all the decisions who is not fond of Alia. His first daughter Esha is all set to marry Robin Fundwani, brother of Harry Fundwani and during their grand wedding organized by Jagjinder Joginder, many skeletons tumble out of the closet. From bankrupt families looking for support from one another to two insomniacs falling love to a father’s possessiveness over his daughter to a marriage of convenience, many such tales are hidden beneath the grandeur of this big fat Indian wedding.
