The Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) is organizing the annual Indian Diaspora Business Meet and Regional Pravasi Bharatiya Divas on November 14 and 15 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
With a strong emphasis on engaging the diaspora in the context of India’s developmental process, the India Diaspora Business Meet will focus on specific sectors including Digital India, Renewable Energy & Investments in Social Impact Enterprises in India, according to a press release.
It will include panel discussions and presentations on focus sectors and additional topics such as Make In India, Swacch Bharat, and innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as B2B Meetings and B2G meetings with Indian official and business delegations.
Topics being discussed will include investment opportunities in the clean and renewable energy sector, the Digital India Initiative, social enterprises, and more.
“This event will give an excellent platform to build and deepen commercial linkages with the highly innovative Indian diaspora in the United States,” said Sumani Dash, Director and Country Head, USA and Canada for the CII, in a statement.
OIFC is a not-for-profit set up by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry for sustained economic and knowledge engagement of Overseas Indians with India.
